09-5-2009 - Got my first TRUE Ultrasound.. Est 6w3d SAW HEARTBEAT!!!!

Ok so on Friday morning I went in to my dr.'s office, the NEW one since the Old OB was such an *ss!!! He said he would refer me to loma linda MFM based on my history. I asked for an ultrasound and he sent me to the radiology clinic. They ordered a "transvaginal Dating/size" ultrasound. The U/S tech wasn't REALLY supposed to show me anything or tell me anything until the radiologist and dr.'s could go over it....

she asked me 2x if I had cramping or bleeding and I said NO even tho I've had regular cramping... no spotting tho. Then she turned the screen so I could see and i got to see my bean!!! I saw a heartbeat also! not a little flicker like with TJ but more like an actual BEAT, BEAT, BEAT... lol

They estimated me 6w3d.... and by my calculations I should've been around 6w5d or so so the timing was right on. She said I'm due est. by that U/S on Dec 29th give or take a week... so I'm sticking to my original EDD of Dec 25th. I was right with TJ and right this time.

She said the HB was 122... I'm super happy and excited but won't be truly happy until this LO is born safe and healthy!!!
Up til now I"ve gained anywhere from 1 1/2, to 2 lbs.... but I've been getting nauseaus the last 3 days... actually nights. It's hitting me around 8pm each night wether I take my Prenatals or not. I just now took them and am waiting to get sleepy enough to fall asleep... Unisom should do the job (and apparently it should help me get a little less sick)

DH has been getting on my nerves lately. He says i'm ALOT more moody with this baby and I"ve also craved spicy stuff.... he is alot more impatient than when I was pregnant with TJ. It's made me cry a few times but I'm a B**** myself to him alot. So we talked and he said he'd work on it... I said I would too.

Also: TJ UPDATE: Today he was signing MILK to my mom and she didn't realize it for a while... he kept making the "milk" sign with his left hand... so my mom figured it out and got his attention and signed "milk? TJ food?"... he got so excited and flung his arms and legs around..She waited til he calmed down and asked again and got the same reply! This was the first time he TOLD HER that he wanted MILK! He has absolutely fallen in LOVE with his "wiggle worm" it's a Light Up koosh toy worm from Walgreens.. he sleeps with the thing! So I got him 2, a blue and an orange one. He managed to play with the other one so much it got a tiny hole in it. But there aren't any parts small enough to choke him and he's supervised as well... he doesn't have teeth yet either.
