Congratulations!!! That is wonderful news, and best wishes on the results of your amnio. By the way, TJ is just the cutest. My stepson has Down Syndrome so I am pretty familiar with it. My husband has always said he can't imagine him any other way, and it's true. Is TJ pretty high functioning, or is it hard to tell yet? My stepson was really almost in the baby stage until he was two or three years old because of the low muscle tone, inability to articulate speech, etc. but now he is much more high functioning than some kids - less than others - but definitely his own person.

We had our big U/S today at 16 5/7 weeks, and my amnio also. At the ultrasound we learned we are having another little BOY. I'm very happy, especially since baby boy seems to be growing well. TJ's not gonna be the baby anymore!
lol. My amnio FISH (preliminary) results will take 14 days to come back, and the results on if he has the skin disorder will take about 8 weeks. :) We are happy and got tons of pics, and several very clear ones of his "boy" parts.
