Updates!

Amnio came back NORMAL and showed it's definitely a BOY, Mason Cole H. We liked the name and are sticking with it, lol. We weren't really worried about him having down syndrome, because down syndrome in itsself isn't a problem, but rather we worried that if he had it he'd also likely get the skin disorder meaning he'd face the health challenges TJ did like infections following surgery... something we can NOT handle again.

TJ will be a YEAR OLD ON FRIDAY AUG 14!!!!!!!!!! SUCH A GREAT THING! We will have a small thing here at the house, then go to dinner and movie with just me, hubby and TJ and bring a small cake of some sort for him to experience (a candle that we keep out of reach and blow out ourselves) and a camera of course! He's growing, nearly 15lbs already!! and learning new things. I have a new video to post showing how he's learned to sit up, only SEMI supported. He doesn't need anything at his sides any longer, but can hold himself up as long as his back is against something. A HUGE deal! He's begun to giggle and laugh, which is AWESOME and just started a week ago when daddy made him laugh the first time. (he's been grinning for a couple of months). Now he's realized that if he giggles, and thrashes around it'll get attention from mommy and daddy! He's begun to miss hubby when hubby is at work because when he comes home on lunch, TJ will get SUPER excited (like crazy excited, I must post a video I have on my myspace) and then when he leaves, Tj will get super fussy for a couple hrs. :(

Hubby is enjoying his new promotion, and my pregnancy is going well. I'm 20w5d and have gained only 5 1/2 lbs but I'm eating and trying to keep my fluids up. I felt mason beginning to move/kick at about 17w, and felt true kicks just after 18w.

Hubby got to feel his first kick at 20w1d, SO much sooner than with TJ. And with TJ I had an idea what to look for but had an anterior placenta so didn't feel much til about 23w, and hubby felt the first kick with him at around 25ish weeks.

My insurance and doctors are working with me to get me into a pain management clinic for my back pain soon, and are treating me in the meantime. :)
