My mood while writing this blog: Ok |
So, I just got back from FINALLY going to my '20' week scan! Everything looks great, I think! The ultrasound tech I dont think likes her job! She is not very friendly! Would only once in awhile speek and it would be to say that the right foot and so on. Ugh if I should have another ultrasound, I would rather drive outta town! I am very happy and thankful that I do have a baby growing inside me. Cant really beleive it, still feels a bit unreal. I didnt think that this would ever happen for me! Forgot to mention that the baby;s weight is 14 oz.
I really really wanted to know the gender! I have no preference, I just wanna know so i can buy this child some clothes! UGH..im mad, sad and angry all at this one moment! Im going with my mother inlaw on wednesday to the big city to do some shopping to pick up a crib and other things! We had waited and planned for it to be a certain date so i knew the gender! I called my docters nurse to see if they will do a ultrasound to find out the gender when im in the city and they wont! I also have a planned trip in 2 weeks to go shopping in the states once again for baby clothes a little hard to do when you dont know the gender! So i have no idea what to do! Im very disappointed!
I dont know if you can tell but i really like to be incontrol of most if not all situations! So far on this journey i really havent had all that much control.

Tuesday, 16 Mar Hey if your getting clothes from any store with a lax return policy, buy both boy and girl clothes then when the baby comes, take back the clothes that won't work and then you can get more clothes with the money you get back ;P I'm a little fraudster ;) How about when we go shopping together you pick out what you want for a girl or boy and I'll buy it and give you the clothes that you need as a gift when it comes. Sorry, I'm not any help but I hope this made you feel better! babydust08 -
Monday, 15 Mar I have had u/s tech's like that. Some just aren't very personable.... If you think of it like this... There are not too many suprises in life, so if you have to wait to find out the sex until you have baby, think about how exciting it will be to hear those words "it's a......" for the first time. Especially since the emotion is already there, it just intensifies everything. :) I sometimes wish I waited on finding out. Giving birth to a baby is awesome enough, but add the suprise factor would have made it so much more special. I hate not being in control, but pregnancy has a mind of it's own. Sometimes things happen for a reason, and if you are able to find out the sex, then awesome, but if you don't, think of it as gods way of a beautiful suprise. As far as clothes go, stick to gender neutrel for now, but if you see something in pink or blue that you just have to have, buy it, leave the tags on, keep the receipt, you can always exchange it. I would pin the receipt to the clothing. That way, you have that adorable outfit just in case. :) Take care, and be happy you have a healthy baby stomping on your bladder!!! lol!!! ;) kaysfamily -
