24-6-2009 - SICK!

My mood while writing this blog: meh...

I am so very very tired today. For about the last 5 days I've had a god-awful sore throat that I have been trying to get rid of with nurofen, strepsils and honey and lemon drinks. The girls have been sick too which is awful, Princess J has a chesty cough and Princess L a chesty cough, runny nose and gunky eyes... Well I bit the bullet yesterday and managed to get in and see the sister today at my local medical centre (otherwise it was going to be a weeks wait). We found out I have a throat and chest infection, J has partial tonsilitis and a chest infection and L has Bronchialitis (which she had about a month ago) and viral conjunctivitis.. so yeah when we get sick we don't do it by halves! So we are on a course of Anti-Bs each and L has Redi-pred and drops for her eyes. Just wondering if I happen to be preggers how this will affect the embryo. I told my nurse there was a chance I could be pregnant and she didn't seem too concerned.

OK so I am off to have a nanny nap. Wish my sore throat would pack up and dissappear!
