My Two Angels
God's greatest gift is love
And he sent me that by giving me
My two angels from above
The two of you have blessed my life
In ways you'll never know
By the smiles on your faces
And the ways your eyes glow
You always seem to brighten my days
With the little things you say
Like "mommy I love you more"
And "can we sleep with you today?"
The thought of having children
Is one thing that rarely crossed my mind
But with both of you in my life
I think of children all the time
I know there are times
That I may be hard on both of you
But know that I am, because I love
And not because I want you to feel blue
I thank God every night
That in my life I have the two of you
And I hope when you say your prayers at night
That you thank him for me too
