I had a really bad evening tonight. I was off of work tonight so I thought I would help my mom out and make dinner tonight. Well everything went great until I got completely done and went to take the lid off of the glass bowl. It was really hot so I used two hot pads and the top slipped out of my hands and hit the glass bowl full of freshly made stew and broke the bowl. Stew went all over the stove and counter. My parents had just come home a few mins before that too and my mom was very happy that I had made dinner. Well thanks to the fact that I broke the bowl I had to find something else to make for dinner while my mother cleaned up the mess I had just made. I felt awfull and wanted to start crying so bad. I am just glad that there was something else in the house that we could make that wouldn't take very long. And none of this would've happened if my hands weren't swollen enough to make it harder for me to grip things. Plus by the time I finished making and serving dinner the second time it was already late enough that I didn't get to eat because my mom and I had to run a couple of errands before the store closed. While we were out I started having round ligament pain and it only got worse when I got home so then I had to wait till the pain lessened enough so that I could actually eat the dinner I made and by then it was after 9pm and everyone else in the house was getting ready for bed, so I got to eat my dinner alone. I will be glad when all my swelling finally goes away.
