08-9-2008 - Engagement Party...

My mood while writing this blog: Happy

Well on Sat we are having our Engagement party at home. We have about 70-80 people coming (ahhhh) I'm trying not to stress about it. We have just built a house and we have a big outdoor entertaining area with a fire place (it's cold in Tassie) we are plannning a Spit Roast so i'm going to try to get as much organised as possible. We only moved in May, so everyone will be wanting to look through our place, so i have to make sure everything is organised, I'll be cleaning windows for days...(we haven't cleaned them yet).

Once the party is over i am going Wedding Dress shopping... i have left it so late, hopefully i can find something. I'm short with tiny shoulders so i need something that makes me look tall.

I never really grew up dreaming about a wedding and "the dress" etc. like a lot of girls... i would be happy to go away and get married just me and my husband to be, that is my idea of romance.

I think alot of people can get caught up on "the day"!!! I can appreciate it's special, i just can't wait to make a commitment to my husband to be...
