19-1-2009 - Wedding thoughts

My mood while writing this blog: tired

Well i'm almost in the 2 week wait but not for ttc unfortunaly!

Our wedding is in two and a half weeks, and i'm starting to get excited butterfly's everynow and then. So much is happening right now. I have so many little things to do... and i think it's all the little touches that make something spectacular

I can not express how much i love my mum right now - she has helped me so much, things would of been so stressful without her... i want to do something special for her but i don't know what i could possibly do to let her know how thankful Gav and I are.

We booked our honeymoon last week and we are going to Port Douglas and then to Adalaide to drive down the Great Ocean Rd. In Port Douglas we have splashed out and got a luxury penthouse with a swimout room and we are planning to go out to dive the Great Barrier Reef which will be so breathtaking, and also i would love to go white water rafting lol! but more to the point i just can't wait to spend two whole weeks with my Husband... This time in our lives is amazing and it almost feels like a fairytale, i feel like the luckiest girl in the world and i don't want to take one moment for granted...

My bestie is coming down from Darwin next Friday to have the last week helping me with stuff and to be here for my Hens Night... Which my girls tried to organised me a stripper lol (i am so not the sort of girl that u would do that to) the only one i want dancing around me naked is Gav and it very rare that happens anyways. But i'm sure they are going to have a awsome night ahead for us... The boys are having a big BBQ at home (let's hope i'm not stuck cleaning the next day with a sore head).

The only thing i havent done is picked out a song to walk down the isle too..... It's a garden wedding so it doesn't need to be too formal. Any suggestions i would love. i was think Bryan Adams song (everything i do i'd do it for you) but Gav thought it was deffinate no go, so i'm still racking my brain trying to come up with something please if anyone has a suggestion let me know...
