It's been awhile since I've posted an update. Yesterday my friends through my a baby shower. My mom flew in for the weekend to be there. I just got back from taking her to the airport. I had a great time a the shower!!! We played some fun games, the food was good, and I received lots of awesome gifts. I'm going to go shopping today to try get the rest of the things I need. Also going to try to finishing washing all the baby clothes so we are ready. I can't believe I only have around 4 weeks to go. I'm hoping to be induced on October 9th. Keeping my fingers crossed.

So I've been going to my weekly appointments now and I have another tomorrow. Last week, baby Allison weighed in at 5lbs. I'm getting weekly NST's and biophyscial profile ultrasounds to make sure the baby is ok. With my Lupus, I have a higher risk of the placenta aging faster, which can cause the baby to not get the nutrients and blood flow needed. If at anytime my doctor feels that baby isn't gaining enough weight or my fluid levels are too low, he will induce me. So far the last two weeks my ultrasounds have been rated a 10 out of 10. So everything is looking really good.

Oh, my husband finally picked a middle name for the baby last week. Her name will be Allison Paige. I think her name is beautiful. I can't wait to meet her!!!!
