Write a new blog

||My mood while writing this blog:|
We had our shower this past weekend and everything was perfect! We couldn't have been happier with the way everything worked out. We did get a lot of stuff. I couldn't believe it. It took 6 cars to get all our stuff home. I spent Monday putting everything in some kind of order to try to figure out what we need and what to take back. She has so many clothes I don't know what to keep and what to return! A lot of clothes through 9 months but then she has like four outfits! I thought taking some back and exchanging for bigger sizes was a smart idea.
So this is our first baby, I am not sure how many of anything we need. Burp cloths, wash cloths, towels, bottles ect. What do you ladies think about bottles? Is Dr Brown's the way to go or is there something better and for sure let me know if there is something to stear clear of.
I don't know about the rest of you but I am getting so anxious to meet out little one. I am trying to get enough sleep and get everything ready for her before she gets here but I feel like time is dragging now. I keep having dreams about what she will look like and how big she will be. I have an OB appointment tomorrow and my last ultrasound on Monday, I will keep you all posted.
Hope everyone is enjoying their summer!!

- Saturday, 26 Jul I am in the same situation as you- I got so much duplicates from my 2 showers... I am not sure about bottles either, but I plan on breastfeeding. I bought one bottle in different brands, cause the choice is really up to the baby. Although, the nurse in the L&D said usually what ever you give them in the beginning is usually what they will stick to. Someone recommended a more pricey one from Babies R Us called Ordini. It's pretty cool- shapped more like a breast then the rest of the nipples I've seen. Just FYI, I've also heard sometimes you have to change the babies clothes because of burp up messes, diaper explosions, etc. a couple times a day, so you could potentially go threw 2-3 outfits a day! And yes!!! I am right there with you, ready to have this baby. I am just now at the point where I am getting really excited to meet him :) Jennifer P
- Thursday, 24 Jul I am soooo happy to hear that everything went perfect with your baby shower. Wow, 6 cars to get everything home!! She is one lucky baby girl. I can only imagine how excited your are for her to be here. It is almost that time...YAY!!! I have to agree with you that I think it would be very smart to take some of the clothes back and exchange them for larger sizes. I hear clothes are the fastest thing they grow out of....especially newborns.
