My mood while writing this blog: amused |
I manipulate her arms to play along with the words, touch the body parts, or we bounce, all sorts of things to get her involved
Dance your fingers(tune: here we go looby loo)
Dance your fingers up,
Dance your fingers down,
Dance your fingers in and out
And all around the town.
Dance them on your shoulders,
Dance them on your head,
Dance them on your tummy,
Then tuck them into bed.
Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes
Itsy-Bitsy Spider
Clapping Song
Clap, Clap , Clap your hands
as slowly as you can.
Clap, Clap, Clap you hands
as quickly as you can.
Roll, roll, roll your hands...
Shake, shake, shake your hands...
Rub, rub, rub your hands...
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle your fingers...
Clap, clap, clap your hands...
Ten Little Fingers10 little fingers,
10 little toes,
2 little eyes,
and one little nose.
2 little cheeks,
1 little chin,
and 1 little mouth
where the treats go in!
Kissy Game
Kissy, kissy fingers
Kissy, kissy toes
Kissy, Kissy baby
On your kissy, kissy nose
I love to kiss your fingers,

I love to kiss my baby
on you kissy, kissy nose.
Here Are My Ears
Here are my ears
Here is my nose
Here are my fingers
Here are my toes
Here are my eyes
Both open wide
Here is my mouth
With teeth inside
Here is my tongue
That helps me speak
Here is my chin
Here are my cheeks
Here are my hands
That help me play
Here are my feet
For walking today (or someday)
Peek-A-Boo
(tune of Frere Jacques)
Peek-a-boo! Peek-a-boo!
I see you! I see you!
I see your little nose,
I see your tiny toes,
I see you! Peek-a-boo!
Rickety, Rickety Rocking Horse
Rickety, rickety rocking horse
Over the fields we go!
Rickety, rickety rocking horse
Giddy up! Giddy up!
WHOA!
Noble Duke of York
The noble Duke of York,
He had ten thousand men
He marched them up to the top of the hill
Then he marched them down again
And when they're up, they're up
And when they're down, they're down
But when they were only half way up
They were neither up nor down
These Are Baby's...
These are baby's fingers
These are baby's toes
This is baby's belly button
Round and round it goes!
Clap, clap clap Your Hands
(tune of row, row, row your boat)
Clap, clap clap your hands
Clap them just like me
Do it now, let me see
Do it now with me.
Touch, touch, touch your shoulders...
Roll, roll, roll your hands...
Tap, tap, tap your knees...
Shake, shake, shake your hands...
Wave, wave, wave hello...
Cows in the Barn
(tune: wheels on the bus)
The cows in the barn go moo, moo, moo
Moo, moo, moo, moo, moo, moo
The cows in the barn go moo, moo, moo
All day long.
Ducks in the pond go quack, quack, quack...
Sheep in the field go baa, baa, baa...
Piggies in their pen go oink, oink, oink...
10 Wild Horses
(bouncing song)
10 wild horses came galloping through the town
5 were white and 5 where brown
They galloped up
And they galloped down
They galloped away
And out of town.
Old MacDonald
Out in the Barnyard
(tune: Down by the Station/ use hands and fingers as the animals)
Out in the barnyard
Early in the morning
You can hear the piglets
(wiggle fingers)
Squealing up a storm
Here comes the farmer
(wiggle other hand)
He will feed those piggies
Oink, oink, oink, oink
On the farm
Chickens clucking....

When Cows Get Up in the Morning
(bounce baby when you say 'Good Day')
When cows get up in the morning
They always say 'Good Day'
When cows get up in the morning
They always say 'Good Day'
Moo, moo, moo - That's how they say 'Good Day'
Moo, moo, moo - That's how they say 'Good Day'
Pigs, oink, oink, oink.....

Toes rhymes:
This little piggy went to market
This little piggy stayed home
This little piggy had roast beef
This little piggy had none
This little piggy went, wee wee wee wee all the way home
One is a lady that sits in the sun
Two is a baby and three is a nun
Four is a lily with innocent breast
Five is a birdie asleep in his nest
This little piggy got into the barn
This one ate all the corn
This one said he wasn't well
This one said he'd go and tell
And this one said--squeak, squeak, squeak!
I can't get over the barn door sill!
See saw, Marjorie Daw,
The hen flew over the barn
She counted her chicks one by one (count each toe except the little toe)
But she couldn't find the little brown (white) one
Here it is, here it is, here it is!
(start with little toe)
This little cow eats grass
This little cow eats hay
This little cow looks over the hedge
This little cow runs away
And this BIG cow does nothing at all
But lie in the fields all day!
