Hello!
I wanted to tell yall the new GOLDEN rule. Ya know the one dont drink and drive...well now theres another one, its called dont drink and jump fences for girls!
Hense the reason im making this statement, because my 21 yr old brother decided to jump a fence to pick some pretty flowers for a group of girls @ a party.
Well he cleared the fence but his shoe string caught the fence and 230 lbs of gravity pulled him to the ground landing on his right shoulder!
He was in serious pain and was rushed by friends to the hospital. Well we the family dont find out bout it til later the next day after not hearing from chris for a while. So my mother and i rushed to the hospital to see what was what. Found out that he broke his shoulder. The ball in his should that holds his arm to the top part was smashed, fracture and busted...and alot of damage.
Well they wanted him transported to UVA hospital, my very famiular visited place due to daisys health conditions. So i took it upon myself to take him, which my mother road with me. We had not planned on staying until we found out how BAD it really was. @ ten that night, Sunday, they decided to take him in for EMERGENCY surgery. Well i was already 30 minutes down the road heading home. Ma calls me back BAWLING and told me that the doc said he may be handycapped for the rest of his life...so i did a u turn and headed back to be with my mother!
To make a longer story shorter...he was in surgery for almost five hours. the doc was able to save his bone and reconstruct it. He is home today, in i guess better spirits then he was before surgery. He goes back in two weeks for a check up and staples removed...
So the moral of this story is DONT DRINK AND JUMP FENCES!
