| 30-3-2009 - NEVER ENDING NAUSEA |
My mood while writing this blog: yucky |
This nausea is driving me crazy, I have tried everything I know of, so if anyone has suggestions I am willing to try them. I even wake up in the middle of the night heving, I am trying to get in to see the Dr. with no luck. My 1yr old (in 11 days) is still just as active as always and i am finding it harder and harder to keep up. He still takes about a 2 hour nap everyday so I cut the phone off and lay down with him, but then about the time he gets up it is time for my 4 yr. old to get off the bus from Pre-K. I think I am getting to old for this or this baby is one mean kid, I can't wait for this nausea to go AWAY!

Wednesday, 1 Apr GINGER CANDY!!! I'LL SEE IF I HAVE ANY LEFT. I had been so nauseous for 13 1/2 weeks that even water made me sick. I found some ginger candy and it was the ONLY thing that gave me some relief. The best place to buy them is at any Asian grocery store. I know in Atlanta (I grew up there) that there should be some. Just ask around. Also Ginger Tea (which you can buy at any GNC or health store/vitamin store)
will help you. Try it! I promise it will give you some relief. Don't eat anything with any dye in it as you might be allergic to it. (found out i was allergic to the orange dye in Vitamin C tablets when i was preggo)(weird i know. lol)
Anyway, I hope that this helps. I have recommended this to other girls when they had been sick and IT REALLY WORKS!!!! CelticBabe2009 -
Tuesday, 31 Mar Small meals of starchy food and keep drinking water (or in my case watered down lemon-lime gatorade). Sleep is also good. You might want to take Zantac for a while to stop the stomach acid and try to get back on track. I had Hypermesis Gravidarium with my daughter, which is 24/7 10 month morning sickness. I got a jump on it this time with Zantac and and antinausea drug called Zofran, both used sparingly, that my doc prescribed. I helped and now I am only queasy from time to time. Try it. boystruckx2 -
Monday, 30 Mar Ice...ice....ice....I had such bad nausea my entire pregnancy. The only thing that really worked for me was chewing on ice chips or eating slushies. It seemed that the extreme cold in my tummy would put it in shock or something. I wish you the best of luck I know how awful it is.
