14-8-2008 - first pants off visit

My mood while writing this blog: grumpy

So I had my first pants off visit today and as many of you know I have not been feeling well. I got to my doctors on time and signed in and took my seat. After about ten minutes the women calls me up and tells me that my doctor just got called to the hospital and that I could wait if I wanted he should be back within the hour. Me not feeling good and really wanting to know what is going on down there tell her I will wait. Boy was that not the answer she wanted to hear and she tells me again it could be an hour maybe two and I tell her again thats fine I have a great book and I am not feeling well and I really want to have my strep b test done and I will wait. Well this does not make her happy but whatever. I am called back maybe ten minutes later to see the nurse and she is grumpy to and I am getting vibes the whole office is grumpy today and that they are behind and having office drama. Not my problem nor do I want to over hear it but I am in this for the long haul today. So she tells me the doctor is back and will see me soon. So I was very happy that I only had to wait twenty minutes which is about the time I wait any other time. So I had my pants off visit. I am 1 CM dilated and he is head down which I already knew and he has dropped. So I am ready to go. My doctor said that most women do not dilated early with their first and most of the time it happens when you are in labor so I could stay at 1 CM. He told me that I am fine and that I am not sick its called being pregnant. He was a little grumpy too. But all and all I am happy that everything down there is going as planned. Oh I did ask about the primrose and he told me it was a waste of time and money but I still may try.

It must be a full moon soon because the crazy people are out in full swing and boy are people grumpy.

awe boo to rude people. Don't the yknow we are the ones that have a reason to be grumpy and we are the ones that are smiling through nausea, cramps, contractions, constipation blah blah etc etc. Man what whiners. I think they just didn't want to see u.. especially since he was back in 20 mins instead of an hour. good for you for sticking around! yay 1 cm.. man thats 1 more cm then I'm dilated. mine's still thinking. although I'm very certain she dropped the day after the doctor said she was floating high. just like my stubborn little girl.. drop down the day after just to prove everyone wrong.. shesh. you going to try the primrose anyway? i have been craving tea for the first time since being pregnant isn't that weird?
don't let anyone get you down.. it won't be long before your cheeks are going to hurt from smiling at your sweet baby's face to long.

LOL thats annoying i hate nurses that are rude like that. YAY your time is coming soon! uh and today sure is a weird day im super grumpy and cant even stand to answer the phone at work LOL! hope this goes away!
