I went for my 4D u/s yesterday morning. I was disappointed because baby girl would not cooperate. She was head down the entire time so we couldn't see her face. *pout* It was confirmed that she was a girl....she presented herself to us that way. Yay! After my last pregnancy with Corgan I just needed it confirmed in more than one u/s that we were indeed having a girl. I assume everything else is okay, but we find out for sure next week at my Ob appointment. Baby girl's HR was 131 bpm and she weighs 2 lbs 10 oz. I was exactly 28 weeks yesterday and she measured 28 weeks 1 day. So everything seems to be right on track.
On the ODD front with my son things seem to be improving, but they got a lot worse the last couple weeks. I am thinking the medication he was put on 4 weeks ago is finally starting to help. The school and I came to a decision. We are trying to get Chance into a special school that deals with behaviors, but keeps them at the same grade level they are functioning at. Chance is very intelligent and they think part of his troubles might be that he is not being challenged enough academically. He is still on half days, but he had made it 3 days without me being called at home to go pick him up. We are making huge efforts to reward this, re~inforce that he is loved and re~establish his sense of belonging in our family unit. So far this week has been a good week for Chance. Yay!

I am sorry your 3D u/s wasn't as great as you hoped. I had one on May 2nd and he was also head down and snuggled right into the placenta so it was nearly impossible to see his entire face, so for the most part we just saw half of it lol.
I am glad to hear Chance is doing so well and that you guys have been working together as a strong family unit to support him. That is great news about looking into another school as well. I am sure he will enjoy it more when his specific learning needs are being met and he is challenged.

Aww so she was hiding huh???!!! lol Well I'm sure they scheduled a follow up appt right?? Maybe that time she"ll be more willing.
About Chance I'm glad things are progressing. God Bless him and the rest of your family. I'm sure it'll work itself out. Just have faith and lots and lots of patience which I'm sure u do being you have 4 kids lol lol. Take care

Glad to hear all is well with your baby girl. She wants to keep a surprise hiding her face.
Also good news on Chance. Most times you find that the behavioural problems come from kids been bored and not challenged at school so fingers cross you can get him into the new school and there will be no looking back.
