| 03-7-2009 - Just Another Update. 36 Weeks. | My mood while writing this blog:indifferent |
My parents brought up another gorgeous set of bunk beds that my dad built. So now we have two sets. One set is in Chance and Cannen's room and another set is in Caprice's room. Now all of the kids have nice beds to last them until they are grown and leave home.
A few months back I came across this photographer that wants to expand her portfolio. She wants to do free maternity and newborn shoots to use in her portfolio. So I am getting my belly photos done on the 9th of July and then probably we will do newborn ones in August. She gives us a CD of the images and we give her the right to use our image all for free. I am excited! She did my BFFs newborn a few months back and the photos turned out so well.
The Calgary Stampede officially started today. I am probably going to to go down there with Shaun and the kids tomorrow... for sure Sunday as it is family day. I cannot wait for corn dogs, mini donuts and rootbeers! Yummers! I am not sure how well I am going to fair walking around the grounds with all this pelvic pain, but I am going to give it a go. I wish I could go to the Stampede on July 11th, but I work. Bif Naked is playing the Coca Cola stage that night. Rats. Oh well. Hinder is playing the stage tonight at 9pm, but I am not really a big enough fan to go and fight the crowds. Tomorrow is Saving Abel, but I don't really know their music. Maybe I'll go tomorrow.... I guess I'll see how I am feeling.
My parents also brought up Corgan's new to him toddler bed. It used to be Cannen's. My dad painted it black from blue and green. We had to re~organize the nursery, but its looking really good and I got both kids names up on the wall now. I am still working on three other art projects for the room. I found some cute ottomans that match the room perfectly at Wal Mart for a good price. I got some odds and ends at Michaels for decorations. I just love decorating the room. I want to redo all of the kids rooms over my mat leave. (On Edit: There are new pics of the room in my nursery room photo album)
I have 12 shifts left at work. I find that I am struggling through the second shift of my line. Usually I make it through the first night no problem, but the second and third(if there is a third) are killing me. The pelvic pain makes it so I can barely get up off our horribly uncomfortable chairs. I just have to grin and bare it. Not too long now.
I also splurged and got some Juicy couture soothers for baby girl. Being that I am in Canada I had to get the store to special order them. They won't be in for 6 to 12 weeks. That sucks, but at least baby girl will be here to use them by then.
I have finally started nesting and am getting baby girl's clothes all washed up. I think I am set until she is 2 for clothes... 18 months for sure. I have bought a lot of stuff. I cannot wait to see her in all of it. I have partially packed her hospital bag. I haven't started on mine yet, but I know I have a lot of time. Everyone at work keeps telling me that I am going to go early. I know better. I know my body and the chances of that are pretty slim.
I have been having some contractions. The other day I was having about 16 in an hour, but knew it was either false or pre labour. Being that they have slowed right down... I am going with false labour. I still get them through out the day, but they are very sporadic.
Anyhow, I hope everyone is well!!
