Poet turned 3 weeks old last night. She started off her third week in the wake of her names sake 2nd anniversary of his death. Two years ago my brother Barry Allan passed away unexpectedly. Poet is named after Barry. Its been a tough day. I miss my brother like crazy and have been very emotional today. I had planned to get lots done today related to the move, but I got nothing done. Poet has been so fussy and cluster feeding all day. She hasn't had one proper feed today since early this morning. She slept great last night, but hasn't slept so well today. She wants the boob and then she doesn't want the boob. She is tired, but will just not settle. I think she can sense that I am upset, but being that she is also 3 weeks old she is most likely going through her three week growth spurt. They happen in threes. Three days, 6 days, 3 weeks, 6 weeks, 3 months, and then 6 months. Well, then she is right on schedule to be fussy. I am going to give her a bath here and soothe and cuddle her after and hope she will settle for the night.

Normally Poet is pretty great. She does like to be held all day and cuddled, but yesterday I was able to put her down in her crib for a nap. Since she was two weeks old she has been having morning smiling sessions with me and she is full of smiles. I love it! Even today she was smiley... just not as smiley as normal. The smiles make it all worth while.
We are almost completely moved into our new place. I hope by tomorrow we are completely moved and all that I have left is to clean the old place. I am semi unpacked at the new place. I wish I was more unpacked as my parents are coming up with Caprice and Corgan. I am so happy they are coming home. I have missed them like crazy.
