Miss Poet turned 4 months on Dec 2nd. She is getting so big and growing like a weed. She rolls both ways really well now. She smiles and giggles like crazy. All I have to do is laugh or smile and she is beaming. She loves to be tickled and cuddled, but she is also gaining her independence. I was drinking some water and she reached for the glass. So I let her grasp it and she guided it to her mouth. I put a little water in her mouth. She did really well. Not sure she liked the water, but she grabbed for the glass a second time and I let her have another sip. Maybe no sippy cups for this one. :o) I was also talking on the phone to my hubby and she grabbed for it so I put it up to her ear and she was listening intently and smiling. She also babbled back to him. It was the cutest thing. When I took the phone back she reached out again and tried to grab it from me again and talked to daddy again.

Lol - Your blog could have almost been talking about Bryce! We have been battling the thumb sucking with no progress. I guess some babies just prefer their thumbs! He doesn't grab for my glass - yet. =)

lol aww she so cute...Nate is so lazy he turned twice from belly to back n than never did it again. Doc says its normal tho so I'm not worried...He talks on the phone too n smiles. THey are sooo funny

One thing that I am struggling with is that Poet is becoming a thumb sucker. I am trying hard to prevent it, but its not working so great. When I give her the soother she spits it out, smiles at me and pops her thumb in her mouth. Sassy little girl. LOL! I find her all the time sleeping in her crib with her soother next to her and her thumb in her mouth. I think I am fighting a losing battle.
