07-7-2009 - 35 week ultrasound shockedMy mood while writing this blog:
shocked

Well I go in for an ultrasound at the fetal development center every single week, which I will be going in twice a week now, because my umbilical cord is uncoiled (not spiral) Today I was told that I should consider giving birth by the end of 36th week which is NEXT WEEK. She said everything looks fine but no reason to push to far if the baby is ready. The part where the umbilical cord connects to the baby at her belli is also a little swollen and she says it is "probably nothing." That is what bothers the doc the most. So I asked will I be going through regular birth or C-section, but that I must find out from my other doc. First they will test the babys lungs to see if she is ready to come out and breathe on her own without a problem which she should be, then they will check me out to know wether to schedule me for the induction or C-section. I am thinking why put the baby through stress if we already having this uncoiled umbilical cord and just have the C-section. I just don't know what is the best, I am just worried for the baby. I am also hoping for it to happen not by the end of next week but by the end of 37th week. Every day counts plus she is a little small but weights pretty good, today was 5.5 ))) just two weeks ago she was 4.8 so we gained a little over a pound. Another reason I really want my hubby to make it for the birth of our baby but he is only coming the 21st of July which is middle of 37th week. I am getting really nervous about this whole thing, and really excited at the same time. I can not believe it's almost there. I will be having my baby in my arms so soon. Wish me luck ladies...!!! Im scared of going through labor.

Another problem... we havent picked out a name.....:-( just can not come up with a name. Cant agree on much..~~~

Nelli
