15-4-2008 - A long pregnancy

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

So I'm already in my 3rd month and it's only getting worse. Sickle Cell and pregnancy do not go together, Please believe me when I say...They don't! My body hurts 24/7 and when I'm not hurting, I am, I'm just too stressed to notice. I' know I'm sufforing for a reason but 9 months of this is just torture. I'm so little that my uterus is pushing into my back, no cushioning in their, on top of the fact that it's also tilted back. My hips hurt. I have a full hip replacement and as I get bigger it pushes down on my hips also. It's real painfull, then I feel so bad that I have to take so much pain medicine.

Right now I'm only on 90mg worth of morphine twice a day and I also take tylonol #4 inbetween the morphine. My first pregnancy I was on 100mg so right now, I think I'm ok. I know I have a long ways to go but I'm so ready to bypass a few months. I go to the DR. every two weeks, I give my self a shot in the stomache twice a day, so I don't get blood clots. I have a team of Drs. because I'm so high risk and then I have 3 sets of DRS. all for diffrent things. So do you see why I say this is going to be a long Pregnancy
