20-10-2008 - 18 Weeks

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

18 Weeks, YEA!! So glad to be moving steadily along. Still itching like crazy! Starting to feel subtle movements but nothing really strong yet. Excited to get the 20 week ultrasound!! I am really excited to find out the sex but also just to SEE the baby and to find out if things are progressing as they should be. I'm excited to take my daughter along as well, it will be a little more "real" for her to see the baby that we keep talking about that is in mommy's belly.

Starting to get uncomfortable at night, tossing and turning from side to side and even ending up on my back, YIKES! I did that with my first pregancy and I hated waking up with that feeling! I know that there probably isnt THAT big of a danger for sleeping on your back but that is all they talk about now-a-days. What about back in the "olden times" when they didnt know about that stuff!? Ya know, I think the less they knew back then, the better cause then you weren't as worried about everything as all of us mothers-to-be are now-a-days!

Well, thats all for now, ONE WEEK from Tuesday, (28th) I get my 20 week ultrasound!!!! Can you tell I'm excited!?

Yay for your ultrasound...good luck! I had mine last Thursday and they moved back my due date GRRRRR I told them that was the wrong way! LOL Your daughter will be amazed, so cute! Keep me posted!!!!

Wow, how exciting!! I love to hear about everyone's U/S. So def let us know how amazing it was. Bringing you lil girl is a great idea.

Yup I am having trouble sleeping. My MIL got me a body pillow for my bday, and that seems to have helped some. You're right we worry more now than our mom's did. Take care!!!

Hey girlie! Congrats on the 18 weeks. : ) WOOHOO!! There a few of us that have our 20 week Ultrasounds on the 28th.. How exciting. : ) What time is your appointment? I am having the same toss and turn problem and have been sleeping on my back, but with one side propped up a little.. so I am not flat.. that works a little. Well I hope you are having a good day today. : ) Can't wait to hear how all of our appointments go next week. : )
