30-6-2008 - 15 Week Appointment went Well!

My mood while writing this blog: Relieved

The appointment went well. The doctor said that all of the test results came back negative (so I guess this mean everything is fine, that’s what he said). He gave me an exam, yuck! and said everything with me looks good. I got to hear the little ones heart beat, it was amazing! As soon as he put the Doppler on my belly within seconds we heard a strong heartbeat. The doctor commented on how strong it was. He also said he has a good feeling about this pregnancy. I am so relieved and excited. I go next Friday, July 11th for another u/s. After scheduling all my appointments it works out so I will be able to see the baby or at least hear the heart beat every 2 weeks. This works for me! To top it off my mom took me shopping this afternoon! Old navy had maternity shorts and Capri’s for $10 to $13. I really don’t need too many maternity shorts since I bought some bigger sizes in the spring time, but as the weather gets warmer and I get bigger in the next month or so I will need them and it will be my luck they wont be selling them anymore. So overall I am very excited, little stress about non-baby things, I had to take my new pathfinder in to the shop today since the check engine light came on. The vehicle does not even have 4500 miles on it. Also there is a lady at my church who thinks she rules the world and is giving us a hard time about getting paper work so my husband can be his best friends God father. I don’t think she understands that she just works for the church, she is not God! Sorry to vent, but this lady had me in tears today! So pretty good day, with a few hiccups in between. Hopefully I can get things figured out tomorrow. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers!
