11-9-2008 - feeling massive! and midwife's visit

My mood while writing this blog: happy

I think the baby has had a growth spurt in the last 24 hours as I suddenly feel massive and uncomfy. It was prob eating too many digestive's the other day! lol It's not been as lively the last 24 hours ether, so must be running out of room!

I'm really struggling to get this house ready for the baby, every time I feel like I've got somewhere I turn arround and the kids have destroyed the place again!

The midwife came out today to disscuss birth plans etc.. They inspected the house and between us we worked out the best place to put the birthing pool. they gave me a long list of other things to organise and have ready by 37 weeks, subject to this baby turning the right way round! I thought they were going to check my urine again and my blood preasure but they didn't. They told me I would have to wait till tomorrow to phone up for my results of the tests I had done on Tue's.

They also sat and discussed all the vitimin K things for the baby after birth and if I wanted to deliver the placenta naturally or did I want them to interfear. I think I'll try for the natural. all the others were naturally delivered without any problems. sounds less stressfull for the baby too. All these things you forget so soon after the birth.

I guess I need to get on and finish all this work I have spread about me so that I can start to prepare for the baby.

also with any hope tomorrow will be my last visit to court and my ex husband will finally get it into his head that i'm not a usless mother!
