24-5-2008 - here i am...

My mood while writing this blog:
ok

So...here I am! One week out of work...and I went for my first non stress test yesterday! Well, they told me to eat/drink before hand, so she'd be awake...and was she EVER!!! My mom came with me because I'm a big baby and my husband couldn't take the time out of work right now...so there we were. I was all strapped up, and she turned on the machine! ::ba boom...ba boom...ba BOOM!!!!:: Not only could we hear Aubrey's heartbeat loud and clear....but whenever she moved around, it got LOUDER and FASTER!! I dunno...maybe this is because it was so new for us...but WOW....what an amazing thing to experience! So, I had to push a button everytime I felt her move...and let's just say that the orange juice was something she REALLY liked!!! :) She was moving around like crazy...and the nurse's were very pleased with her "reactiveness"! :) Then it was time to move to the birthing center for an ultra sound (to keep an eye on the fluid level)! Well...I'm smack dab in the middle for that too! :) I am feeling so blessed that things are going so well (knock on wood)! I am considered high risk because I have Lupus...and the doctor's have been saying from the beginning that towards the end I could run into some complications....but baby girl...keep being a survivor in there....keep working hard to get strong, and very soon we will meet when you are ready to face this world! :) ...mommy and daddy and the WHOLE family will be here to welcome you with open arms!!! Love you with all of me~
