Hi Pretty girl!! You are doing so good at the hospital! You are off those yucky tubes that you hated so very much! You are breathing so nicely on your own, and you are eating more and more each day!! Daddy and I LOVE feeding and holding you! You are simply an angel sent for us to take care of! Grammie and Grampie adore you…and so does Nonnie!! You have no idea how hard this is for mommy to leave you for 9 days now. L But I know that I have to stay strong and get stronger to take care of you when you come home. I’m hoping and praying that when we go today, they will say you are going to move to a crib today. Then, you only have two more tests to pass…keep your temperature out of the incubator, and gain some weight!!! Baby girl, I know you can do it! Keep fighting…keep staying strong! Daddy and I are right there with you every step of the way! Daddy has been very busy all week…cleaning and making the house just right for his baby girl. Oh yeah, its Father’s Day today!! You gave Daddy the cutest card with a gift certificate to get your hand print tatooed on his heart…because now you have his heart! I know I will always hold a place in his heart…but you, baby girl, have most of his heart now! The way he is with you simply melts my heart! He has been simply amazing with helping me this week. So patiant. So kind. So amazing. I love him so much…and you will too! You already do! The way you turn your head to look at him is simply surreal! Well sweetie, you are going to be hungry soon…so Daddy and I are going to feed you and cuddle with you on Father’s Day! I can’t wait till they tell me you are coming home soon…I just gotta stay strong a few more days!! Love you with all of me~

Your story is amazing. I am so moved on how strong you and your husband are through this. Your daughter truly is blessed to have you as parents. I hope that you saved a copy of your birth story and the other writings you may have written while your little girl is in the hospital. I am sure she will love to read them. I am praying for you and your family. I hope that she gets to come home soon!!!
