| 29-6-2008 - First Dr. Appointment! |  My mood while writing this blog:shocked! |
So, I had my very first dr. appointment today and found out A WHOLE BUNCH!
1. I'm a high risk pregnancy because I've had a DVT (deep vein thrombosis) and have to have a Lovenox shot every day for the rest of my pregnancy. I had to have the shots when I had the DVT and let me just say they BURN like the fire of a thousand bees! Better safe than sorry though.
2. I had my first ultrasound! As the doctor was looking, he said "Well, there's your baby! Er, wait a second.... BABIES! I'm having TWINS! I can't believe it!
3. He pushed my due date back to February 12th, so I'm about 7 weeks pregnant. But then he told me that twins usually deliver on average about 5 weeks early, so I'll be having the twins in January most likely!
It was a very eventful day for me. :) i don't know how to quite take it all in!
