11-5-2008 - a mother's day blessing!

Hey Mamas!!! Happy Mother's Day to you all!! So, I woke up this morning and didn't feel much different, because I'm not FULLY a mom yet.....but I couldnt help but think about one year from now. I couldn't help but dream of being awoken by a 10 month old on my bed (Placed there by my hubby of course)....and the feeling that I will feel by holding her in my arms! So, I called my mom to wish her a Happy Mother's Day (as I have done for the past 27 years, or so)....and I couldn't help but think how SHE must be feeling on this day! My Nana (her mom) passed away 14 years ago.....OMG, has it really been that long?! But, she has a new generation to look forward to now, and ........ I just can't even imagine how that must feel! Although we miss Nana so so much....a new generation of GIRLS is coming so so soon...and the overwhelming emotion is ...well...overwhelming to say the least! I have been feeling good throughout this pregnancy...and with strength and a positive outlook...i WILL make it through the next two months. Please say an extra prayer for tomorrow's results....we have to get an ultrasound and some follow up notes with the dr. because my blood pressure was sky high last week :( But...with strength and no fear....we WILL pull through. So, Happy Mother's Day everyone....I will be enjoying it at our first BIRTHING class...hee hee hee whoooooooooo....
