| 30-9-2008 - 31wks...contractions | My mood while writing this blog:Confused |
OK so if its not one thing with me its the another...
My usual problems with bloods, protein and BP which generally go up with each visit is actually going down slightly eg. Uric acid the highest it "should" be is 380....a few weeks ago it was 416, then 402, and now 386...which is fantastic...I am so pleased also BP has been levelling off around the 135/85 mark.
So while thats all ok i am still getting monitored on MAC to check on baby. I was on the monitor at 8.30am this morning and everything was ok i had two very small minor BH contractions. But but by just after 9.10am i had 4 quite "uncomfortable" every 2-3 mins.
The MW decided to leave me on the monitor longer to keep an eye on them and they just kept on coming, some i felt more than others. They were still regular about 2 mins apart. She counted 12 and decided to call the doc to check they were BH and not very early labour and make sure the contractions weren't actually doing anything.
Doc came round and id had loads more so she did an internal....OUCH is all i can say.....(well i could say more but in french ha ha ha) It was sooo painful "inside" and she hadn't even managed to get in enough to see my cervix....she tried again and said that i was NOT dialating but i had a lot of discharge (hmm lovely) she said it didn't look like thrush but that i should not be that sore up there and has given me some lovely lady like medicine to take each evening to try see if it helps. She also did a swab.
They told me as the contractions are not actually doing anything it was ok to go home but to go straight back if they get painful, or get the other usual signs shows, water ect.
I finished there and headed off to my other soc appt with renal team which was 11.15am, and i was still getting them every few mins. I got home and called MAC to asked how long i should be putting up with them before i should worry so i was advised to wait till early eve and call back if i was still getting them, so go in if the change.
I called back at 4.30pm still getting them every few mins...the longest time was 6 mins. Again because they are not painful they said to keep an eye and call back at 7ish...So ive tried everything, standing moving, sitting laying, drinking LOTS of water, bath, shower and still getting them. I called back at 7.30am swab results are not back and was told as long as they havent changed there is not a lot they can do.
I have to try and sleep through them which im not to fussed about because they dont hurt and see if im still getting them in the morning and carry on monitoring them.
I dont think im going into early labour or anything sinister but man having "tightenings" CONSTANTLY for 11 hours that are only a few mins apart is actually quite annoying...lol. I have my fingers VERY tightly crossed that all is ok and that a good nights sleep makes them go away. This is the price i pay for not having any in 1st preg lol
So what else could possibly happen to me next lol...Stay tuned for the next installment lol
