| 06-10-2008 - 32wks...Hospitalised | My mood while writing this blog:Anxious |
I never want to feel the fear i felt on Friday.
Baby is very active and as my BP was high DH took son to MILs. At 11.30 i was in the shower and realised i had not felt baby move all morning which is highly unusual. I was racking my brain trying to remember if i had felt him and just forgot.
Before i knew it i was in floods of tears panicing....I tried to calm down, I got out the shower and laid down on the bed (he usually has a good wriggle after a sower) i felt nothing. I called DH balling my eyes out totally petried and BP had gone sky high....I cant remember the top number but bottom number 103.
I called Maternity ward to told me to go there and get checked. DH came straight home from work and took me there.....After a 2 hour wait.....Yes me sat there worrying for 2 HOURS!!!! i got on machine and what would you know, baby starts moving...little sod! BP also came down (they used a manual pump and said they couldnt hear it clearly)
I had bloods taken and was sent home and told to call back in the evening and that because i had been monitored that day i didnt need to go back the next day. So i called back and my bloods were getting higher so was advised to keep my appt.
I went back on saturday i had been getting headaches, and MW did BP again using manual and again said it was very quiet but seemed low, she used the other machine and BP was 146/102....I was monitored and given paracetamol for headache and had BP done again and it was more or less the same. I was told i was being transfered to labour ward to see doc.
My BP had come down slightly so didnt have to go and waited on maternity ward instead, doc came and said they wanted to increase my BP meds. I was also admitted. The BP meds made me feel so ill, headaches, palpatations, pains, spots....Doc came to see me Sunday and said they may change them
Sunday night i was changed to a different type of med, which was alot better. I was let out today BP has come down. I have a growth scan on Wednesday, and my consultant appt just afterwards.....I am praying and wishing soooo hard i actually make it to 37 weeks...anything past that is a bonus.
Here is hoping for the next 5 weeks to be better......
