WARNING!!! Serious Venting

I have never wanted to stamp on somes face before!!! My manager is a complete arrogant, prick who thinks women are made to cook and have babies!!! I hate him! This is a long story lol.

I work in T-Mobile, I have been there 4 years. Just before I found out I was pregnant I was promoted to senior sales. My "then" manager was great, he really developed me and brought me forward, also showed me the running of the business. We were like a married couple, we would argue and bicker but respected each other and always had each others back.

We got a new assistant manager who was as much use as a chocolate fireguard! I helped to train him up...yes I trained MY own assistant manager! anyway in May my old manager went on holiday for 2 weeks and it was left between me and the assistant manager to run the store. Which between the two of us we did great. We had loads of comments from all the other managers in the area how well we did. Although I covered all the shit the assistant manager did cos I didnt want to fail. My old manager came back from his hols to tell us he was moving stores and we were getting a new manager

In June the new manager started he was useless too, but he was new, so as well as showing HIM the running of the store I was still piggy backing the assistant manager! The assistant manager had 2 weeks off in June then then the manager had a death in the family so took a week off and I single handedly ran that store. With NO ISSUES i might add.

I had a review with the new manager and told him that I was still on probation for my promotion which is usually 6 months but my old manager said he was going to speak to HR and get it down to 3 months and just put it through. The new manager was like....er.... well I am new I dont think I can do that. Also your sales are not good!!.........Well NO cos I have been doing YOUR FUCKING JOB!!! He was like, you are a senior sales, the clue is in the title SALES.

He told me to concentrate on the shop floor, drive sales of the team (which i was doing, hence the fact our store was usually always top of the leagues). Anyway I did what he said and the back office went to pot, banking done wrong, stock takes not filed away, contracts not checked and signed and the list went on.

I ended up back in the office clearing up after him with no thank whatsoever. He kept making comments about me being pregnant and can I cope? I wanted to smack him. I then had another review and cos I was STILL picking up his shit my sales were struggling even though I managed to earn £600 in commission alone in July. He said that he had spoke to HR and asked them if he could extend my probation till I came back from maternity, so when I return I would have the further 3 months, cos he didnt think I could do the job. Then he told me about the full compant stock take in Sept, when I was going to be 7 months pregnant. He made the comment, well your are a senior member of staff so you have to do it, if you still want to be senior sales. So I ended up doing a 12 hour day, on my feet all day. It killed me

I ended up in hosp, anyway the doc said he was going to sign me off sick. My manager said no you HAVE to take maternity leave early, so thats what I did. Anyway I have to go back to work earlier than I wanted to so called my manager who told me that they have 2 x senior sales in the store now, when that store only needs one he said "if you remember our conversation before you left, you are only on probation so it might not go through" WHAT THE FUCK......As if I worked my arse off. He asked how Caiden was and I told him about his impending operation and feeding problems then he said "Well you have to think about how that will affect the business you cant keep having time off" FUCK YOU PRICK!!! My son comes before my job any day.

I spoke to one of my good colleagues who ive worked with for years and he said that the new manager has shown his true colours, and would not be suprised if he tried every excuse to demote me. He is usless, he did even get a risk assessment done while I was pregnant, and never inform occupational health and put me down to part time, instead of pregnancy related sick days. I had to call HR from home to sort that mess out. I also found out that I could have gone sick cos i was not sick within the four week of my due date, so thanks to that arse wipe I am now losing out an extra month with my son. I hate him.

Sorry had to vent a bit.....I say a bit cos there is LOADS more he has done and said but I am gettin myself really mad again. I am going to call my area manager to make a complaint and also raise my issues. Hopefully cover myself before WANKER stabs me in the back.
