Hi everyone;

Long time no post! I have been keeping up with those who blog, it's my guilty pleasure to still come on this site, and check up! My little girl just celebrated her first birthday and I can't believe how fast time has gone. I feel very 'nostalgic' when I see little babies and I love to hold them but I am definitely NOT ready for another. I have been so lucky with my daughter as she has always been a great sleeper, eater and has a very happy disposition. I am not ready to risk having a high maintenance baby because really, you never know!!

I hope everyone is doing well. I don't see too many people from when I was in the ttc forum still kicking around so hopefully everyone got their bfp's. It's the greatest joy in the world :)

Anyway, if anyone is interested, below is a Mommy survey.

1. How long have you been a Mom?: 1 year and 4 days (but really since approximately mid June 2009 when I conceived....)

2. How many children call you Mommy? 1

3. Girl? Boy? or both?: Girl

4. Did you know what you were having? No I wanted to surprise very badly

5. How old were you when you became a Mom? 24

6. How long were you in labor? 23 hours and then 2 hours of pushing!

7. What's your favorite thing about being a Mom? Wow, hard question, but I have to think it's the feeling I get when I can make her giggle or comfort her like no one else can.... oh, and when she says nothing but 'Mommy' all day! (like today, lol)

8. What's your least favorite thing? I hate that I can't go running errands without taking a child in and out of a carseat. It makes me re-evaluate how I do things!

9. Last movie you saw in the theater? I think I went not that long ago... umm... yeah i have no idea.

10. One thing you will not give up just because you're a mom? Reading. I still take time for me.

11. One thing you did give up now that you're a mom: Partying is much harder now.

12. Best Mom perk: Seeing my baby light up when I come in the room. It makes me smile every day.

13. Do you want more kids? Yes

14. Do you plan on having more soon? No, not soon.

15. How many times have you been pee'd on? Um maybe once?

16. Barfed on? Omg .... a billion.

17. Is your child named after anyone? Her middle name is after my husband's cousin.

18. How did you come up with their names? We got Carlee from a book and her middle name was because we wanted to name her middle name after someone.

19. When your child gets in trouble, who is the bad guy? She's too little to get in that much trouble.

20. What is the longest you have been away from your children? It would be when I was at Busch gardens, so i guess about 36 hours.

21. Bedtime routine? I give her a bath, brush her teeth, then we snuggle and read a story in the rocking chair and then she goes to sleep.
