Ok


Yesterday was my first day back at work and I cried like a baby when I dropped Genna off by my mom's. Not only was I crying when I walked in the door, but I cried all the way to work and off and on all day when someone asked how I was doing or about my baby. Today went much better... only a little bit of crying. My mom is very understanding and let me adjust my hours so I still am full-time but do not have to work the max amount of hours and I also get to work in the office closer to home more and only have to travel to the other office (which is almost an hour away versus the other which is ten minutes away) once a week so that is awesome!

Genna (Genevieve) is doing great... she will be 7 weeks old on Friday. At two weeks she was 10lbs 1oz so I'm curious to see how much she weighs now, but her next appt isn't until Sept 4th. She is getting quite vocal with her happy squeals and jabbering... :) She sleeps pretty well too only waking once or twice to eat and full back asleep.

Our silver lab is going to have puppies either this week or next... I told my husband to seperate her from our chocolate lab but he didn't think our male dog was old enough to know what he was doing... ha guess again!! Not exactly the best timing, but oh well. I'm curious to see what color puppies they will have.

Going back to work next week... I'm sure the waterworks will come! Full hours and a long commute... Wonder how that's gonna fly!
