14-8-2008 - Post Partum Depression/ Anxiety tired/crazyMy mood while writing this blog:
tired/crazy

So.

After giving birth to my first son Evan. I went through what you call Post partum depression. It went away when he was 4 months old. Hes now 2 years old. Since then I have given birth to Aaron, 3 months ago. But I forgot all about post partum depression. I felt the wrath of it about month and a half ago. On top of me feeling depressed for no reason, I also have very bad anxiety. So these past 2 months have been horrible for me. I honestly beleive that the first year of raising a child is the hardest year. Because during that one year alone, your sleeping schedule changes every month, your hormones can take up to a year to get back to normal. If your breastfeeding [like I am] you have to watch what you eat, and take vitamins everyday. [ I have to take iron pills too cause I'm animic]. And if you already have kids [like myself] Its hard to ever get a nap. So one night you could be up all night with the little baby, while your other kids are sound asleep, and by the time you actually get to sleep, 2 hours later and the other kids are up, and hungry. And on top of that, if you work. O if you work. Its just not easy. Keeping the house cleaned, kids feed & clean, and then having a job. OMG Devon [my fiance/babys daddy] does not understand why I am soo tired, and I dont want to have sex when I get off work. I mean ok. I deal with my two kids all day while hes at work. And then when he gets off of work, i have to go into work. I get back home at around 9ish PM. and I'm hungry and tired. I'm tired right now, and the little baby is sleeping. O if I could sleep while he did, I would. But my TWO year old Son is up fliping the house up side down, the usual. anyways. I doubt it any one reads this. but if you so, atleast comment it. :-)

thanks.
