Me and Brett went for the scan last week, it was amazing! I spent so much time beforehand worrying that something would be wrong that I hadn't really thought about the fact I was going to see my baby! I was gobsmacked, it was so obviously a baby, I thought the first scan would be blurry and difficult to make out but it really wasnt, there our babba was clear as day kicking its feet and trying to suck its thmb (struggled a bit with the whole thumb to mouth thing which was really cute). I couldn't stop shaking afterwards and just wished that I could watch it all day, I don't feel there are words eloquent enought to describe how it felt seeing that little life nestled deep inside me, this is such a honor nature bestows on us women, so suffice to say I have never felt so happy as I did when that picture appeared on that screen!

We had decided not to tell most people until we had had the scan so once we had left the hospital I just wanted to run around shouting 'I'm having a baby!!' as you do : ) Since then we have told everyone we work with and well, anyone who will listen really.
