06-10-2008 - And so begins the nursery extravaganza......

So I've been stressing 24/7 ever since I found out it was a boy about finding just the right crib bedding!!! Before my ultrasound I had already found, and purchased, the perfect bedding if it was a girl, but had no luck with finding anything for a boy that worked with my color scheme I wanted to use. So last week I was thumbing through thousands of pages of little boy crib bedding (again) when all of sudden there it was....Serena & Lily Rex Crib Bedding ( you can type it into Google to see what it looks like)!! It was absolutely perfect, except that none of the stores around here have it in stock for me to match up paint samples to. So I had to order a swatch card from the website and wait a whole week (yes, it absolutely was killing me) for it to get here! And much to my amazement it is even more perfect in person than when I saw it online!! YAY!! Now it was time to decide on paint colors....let's just say I officially have a swatch of every red and light blue paint shade that Lowes has to offer. But eventually I was able to narrow it down to the best combination. So Sunday officially began the priming and painting of what used to be our office (a sad day for my husband as it was the only room in the house I allowed him to decorate himself : P). The good news for him is that at least now I have something else to occupy my time so that I'm not online ordering more baby clothes : ) hehe

Hi!Good Luck with the nursery project,we bought a wallpaper for the baby room(I evicted my husband from his personal space as well lol),and as for the furniture we bought them white with little light green so that we can use it again if we have a boy later!

Very exciting!!! :-) Today I find out what gender - and hope to do some shopping soon! sounds like a fun project you doing - I hope that we will be doing our baby's room soon!
