| 01-12-2008 - Stressed.....again!! | My mood while writing this blog:Ok |
I feel like the only time I write on here anymore is when I get stressed out about something, but I can't help it!
My doc called this morning and told me that my sugar levels came back high after my glucose test last week, so now I have to go back this week and do the 3 hour test! UGH!! I still have a bruise on my arm from them drawing blood last week, and now they are going to have to draw it 4 more times for this test!! So, anyways, now I'm really freaking out, and doing the worst thing possible and looking up Gestational Diabetes on google trying to find all the info I can on it, which just makes things worse cause it scares me that I might have it and all that I will have to go through to keep my little man healthy! I'm really hoping that it was a false positive because of something I ate that day (even thought I was really careful), but I don't know how common it is to have a false positive or how high my numbers were or anything! So anyways wish me luck that this is all just a fluke and I'm getting all upset over nothing!
Oh yeah, one more thing! I was just curious if anyone else is having this problem or not.......See my husband and I have been putting money away in our savings account so that as we find things we need for the baby we have the money there to go ahead and get them. We usually only buy stuff cause it ends up on sale, or they discontinue it and they won't let us keep it on our registry, so we'll go ahead and buy it! Well a couple weeks ago when our families were in town for my first shower they were all sitting around talking and started listing off all the things that we had already bought ourselves and then started complaining that we weren't leaving anything for them to buy! I'm like ok first of all there are hundreds of things this little man needs before February (all on the registry I might add). Second of all, any time I mention anything we need all they do is complain about how much it costs! So, I'm not quite sure how they wanted me to respond to that! Then to make things even worse, my husband was talking to his mother this past weekend and she just going on and on about how we haven't bought a matress yet! I'm like ok, wait a minute, one minute I'm buying too much, and then the next you're complaining about something I haven't bought!?!?! I mean which do you want me to do here!!?!? Maybe it's just hormones, but it's driving me crazy ya know! Anyways, is anyone else having this problem or is it just me!?!?!
