22-11-2009 - Labor...NOT OK, considering the circumstancesMy mood while writing this blog:
OK, considering the circumstances

From 1:30am Sunday 22 I had pain (like early back labor) every 10 minutes. I walked, I changed positions and the pain would not go away. Every 10 minutes on the ball. I rested in between, but it woke me out of my sleep each time it struck.
I had an early breakfast, showered and got semi-ready.
I told my husband. He did the same, got semi ready, just in case.
Called the doctor's office, the call back service. I got no call back.
When the pains were about 8 minutes apart we decided to go to the hospital.
There they checked me and monitored me and decided I was not in labor. The pains did fade out whilst I was there. The nurse did manage to feel one of the contractions. I was told they were more BH contractions with pain and were false labor. My cervix was thick, 1 cm dilated and posterior.
I had 2 choices, walk for 2 hours in the hospital and they would have examined me after that or go home (to walk). I opted for returning home. That I did. I did not walk, I went to bed (at 11:00am) to try to make up for the night's sleep that I missed.
Oh well....
