After having 4 children, I believe the most priceless piece of baby furniture (other than crib, car seat.stroller) is the bouncer or bouncer-styled rocker with the toy bar. This serves parents with lots of ease to comfort baby, baby can take cat naps and we can even begin feeding baby solid foods while he is seated on this.
Baby plays really well when on it and it aids digestion esp for babies where too much spit up is a problem. The one we have (Fisher Price Rocker) has adjustable angles of sitting up and grows with baby. I'm sure those who use it will agree.

angela32 - they serve the same purpose as the both provide movement when baby moves:) my son LOVES the toy bar. he's reaching out and batting at them and is fascinated with the snail :)

I do not have the rocker but just went and bought the fisher price bouncer,dont know if thats the same(I knw there is a rocker kinda like a rocking chair and a bouncer)anywho they pretty much serve the same purpose! I love it and she likes it too! I have a swing too but now she is getting big enough to want to stay awake and bounce and look and the toy bar!
