| 16-4-2008 - False Positive |  My mood while writing this blog:Ok |
We had a false positive this month. I had waited 2 minutes and the test didn't turn so I put it in the bathroom garbage and figured it was to early to tell. When I used the bathroom later the test was there on top in the trash bin and it had a second line. I couldn't believe it. I was so excited and my hubby was too. We told our moms and my best friends. The next day my AF came and I was devistated and thought that I had lost another baby. I did some reading online and it turns out that the pregnancy test should never be read after the time on the box expires. It can turn positive later even though it really isn't. How silly is that, I'm 35 years old and never read the instructions completely. I always thought it couldn't turn if you didn't have the hormone in your urine. Soooooo, I learned a huge lesson and I'm relieved that I wasn't really pregnant at all because it would have hurt so much worse. Now my hubby wants me to not tell anyone anything anymore. He doesn't want everyone on this rollercoaster with us. I am a person that can't keep secrets from people. I am like an open, tell all book. I promised him that I would keep everything between us. He never said anything about my website though; so now I will keep my thoughts in here. I need to express my feelings somewhere or I will explode! *****************Thanks to some great advice, I place it in God's hands! Only he knows when or if we are ready and able to carry a little one and we need to trust in him now. Thank you, reading that put my mind at ease. *************************
