09-11-2008 - boohoo! sad and stressedMy mood while writing this blog:
sad and stressed

well guys i'm at breaking point! ok maybe thats a bit over the top but i'm definatly feeling the strain at the moment. They say the 1st 3 months are the hardest but i'm finding months 4 very difficult. George has started to wake up up to 3 times in the night! He was goin down an 9 and sleepin till 3-4 up 4 half and hour then up about half 6-7. that was fine, i could cope with that but now he's started to wake every copuple of hours. I did strat putting him to bed earlier coz he semed really tired but then he just wanted to be up at like 4am. last ight i was up for nearly 2 hours..... he was just wide awake!

i did put him on rice for a few days but then read loads about it not being safe to give them food till at lease 17 weeks but really not till 6 months! he is 17 weeks tomorrow so should i start givin him some rice? He already has boob and a formula bottle at night before bed! He does 3 30-45 min naps a day if i'm lucky, i can't believe a baby can survive on so little sleep (as i'm 25 and seriously struggling on such a small amount!)

To top it off everyone says i'm so grumpy now and not my normal self which annoys me so much as it doesn't help does it! course i'm grumpy i'm absoluty knackered and not my normal self... well u wouldn't be would u? one more thing while i'm having a rant.... isn't it annoying how people want your baby when they're all smiles etc then as soon as they cry or start gettin a bit restless they give them back to you! Sometimes i'd like to see my son smile and giggle!! aaaaahhhhh sorry! very stressed!

Hi - there is a book a friend of mine told me about called the baby whisperer. Apparently it is good for getting your lil one on a schedule. My friend used it and had her wee one on a schedule in a week.

mum2mia2008 - Sunday, 9 Nov
Hiya, What i do at night is try and get mia to have her last bottle as late as i can if shes hungry i will pass the time with a bath. She started waking in the night at 3 months and her ped /dietician advised us to start her on solids immediately, they said shes waking in the night as shes ready and that it doesnt affect them at all.
I put baby rice in her bottle and give her some ellas kitchen for tea and she sleeps her 12 hours, i also find her being in her own room helps alot and feeding them their last bottle in where they sleep, where its dark is good as if you have the tv going or family etc they seem to not be able to settle.
Anyway these are my suggestions!!!! I love being a mummy and have enjoyed the last month the most as i feel better in myself!
If your ever about in Diss we could meet up??? Or i could meet u at baby centre one day!? Im free most days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dont worry though as i know how u feel x
