| 14-1-2009 - update on George and me | My mood while writing this blog:excited |
Hi everyone and happy new year!
well George is 6 months today! I can't believe this time 6 months ago i was on the ward surrounded by my family with my gorgeous little boy thining what the hell happens next! ha! Well now i know and boy has has it been a learning curve! It's not at all as i imagined it to be! I thought i'd know what to do and when to do it as i wor with children and have done for 4 years now! But It's sooooo not the same!
George is doing well, i think so anyway, according to books he should be crawling by now, but no chance of that happening, he screams if he goes on his front! He stands really well though and can stay up if he holds the table. Maybe he'll skip the whole crawling thing and go straight into running the london marathon!
He eats ok. He has milk and cereal for breakfast. milk at 12 (only takes a bit though) followed by a veg and something sweet like fruit. Gonna try yogarts soon though. Then he has a bottle at 4 ish but can't seem to stay awake past half 6 and never finishes that bottle! Think i'll cut back on the 12 milk completly and just give him 5 ounes at 2:30 ish in the hope that he have food at 5 and all his milk at 7!
we go to a music group on a monday and local toddlers on a tues morning then go and play at a friends on a tues aftrenoon. Wed he goes to his grandmas and i work on my dissertation (in between going on here and facebook! oh if you wanna add me search for sarah osborn) thurs or fri we swim and do lots and lots of walking!
I'm going back to work in March so am cherisning these last couple of months with him, it will be weird to go bac and leave him in care but i am really looking forward to getting back to 'normal'. Not woring is not an option for me as... and here is the exciting bit... we're moving! We went to see a house in Harlesston on Fri and if everything goes to plan we will be in by May! It will be sad to leave my mums but the time has definatly come for us to move onto the property ladder!
Hope everyone is ok, lots of love sarah and George xoxo
is this coming home outfit ok for either sex?...
