13-8-2008 - Week 38

My mood while writing this blog: OK

So Im a 38 weeker today, going to try and take some pics of my expanding bump later today and update my page!

I was a little down in the dumps yesterday, a bit tearful... I think that is because I feel just sooo uncomfortable right now and have been so tired. Then yesterday to top it off I broke out in spots on my chest and on my face and some on my back, painful acne type spots. Neil says he hasnt noticed them but I know he is just trying to be nice!!!! I can always tell when he is lying! lol. The spots indicate that my hormones are going mad... although I shouldnt complain really because my skin has been really good all the way through this pregnancy.

I also have such a sore pelvis, Its getting hard to move around, sit up, stand, basically do anything.

Last night I slept all the way through the night not even getting up once to go to the toilet, which is strange because I get up once an hour normally and have been doing so for the last 2 months! Then Neils Mum is looking after Alexandra for me today bless her, so after I dropped her off round there I came home and have slept again straight from 9am till 1 oclock this afternoon. I havnt slept like that since before I had AlexAndra. My body must be conserving energy for labour, its either that or Im just mega tired!!!!!

So anyhow, nothing much to report, other than I have been asleep and that Im fed up!!! Lets hope something starts soon ... I would just love to be one of those mummies that goes into labour before due date rather that after!!!!
