| 09-7-2009 - Week 30 |  My mood while writing this blog:relaxed |
Hey ladies,just a little update....I went to the Dr. yesterday and I am now 170 pds so I'm thinking when I have the baby I should be 180 pds,that's a pound a week.My feet and fingers are swole,thank god for slippers and the fact that it's hot outside so I can wear slippers.The Dr. said everything is good my weight,the babies heart rate,so I'm happy about that...The baby has been moving like crazy and all day long, no complaints though....he must be having alot of fun in there.
Throughout my pregnancy maybe 3 or 4 times,my BF has mentioned that he does not want his child named after him,I thought he was kidding,but just last night he said Diana I am for real .My Bf is a 3rd,so I sorta wanted to keep the tradition alive and continue with the Roman numerals.I also did not want his father side of the family getting mad at me either,but I guess it's something they just will have to live with now....So all this time I'm thinking the baby name will be James,so I got with my cake lady for my baby shower cake and told her to add his name to the cake and I also ordered 10 copies of proofs of how I want my invites to look(yes I have some say so on how I want my baby shower to be lol I'm bossy ),so now I have to change up somethings.Now,I have to come up with another name after I got comfortable with this name...So as the days go along I will think of something I like,I might keep James as his middle name...we will see.
One last thing lol I know throughout my pregnancy I can't really buy my normal clothes,but I know I can still buy earrings ...Ya'll I have this really bad addiction to buying earrings lol it's like if I don't go buy some earrings once a week,I feel bad wth lol weird huh ....Anywho Congrats to all the mothers to be,mothers and GL to the ones ttc!

for now the main concern is that you aren't stressed. you can just go ahead and keep calling your son precious until you come up with a permanent name for him. do the best you can, but there are so many other things you can be proud of at this point. you survived and hung in there so keep up the good work and give that precious prince a rub.

Hey thanks for the add and Congrats on your pregnancy!!! It's kinda funny, but I can comment on your blog right away due to experience...lol
When I got pregnant last year, my husband(Frank IV) informed me right away that our son would be named Frank V. I wasn't too thrilled about it because I didn't see any reason for a brand new baby to have an old name... besides I wanted to get creative! Well once I seen how much it meant to him, I had to honor it. I knew we would have more kids and I could get creative later...lol Although his family wouldn't have it any other way, the ultimate decision was ours. If James III doesn't want to do the traditional thing, I think you two should get together and come up with a name you both agree with, that way you'll both have each others approval : ) I hope everything works out for the best...Congrats again!! congrats on having a good dr. appt :) I like James as a middle name. I wanted to use my husbands name or middle name as our sons middle name but he doesn't like it...so we're still looking for a middle name!

Girl, don't worry about his family. Plus, its not your fault the baby won't be named James.
If my husband was a third and didn't want the baby named after him I would let his family know straight up if they came to me with mess about it.

Well hun I can totally understand. When do the roman numerals stop? I've never heard of one after 3. My suggestion keep the middle name as James if your partner agrees & just find a first name that fits. That's exactly what I did. My parters name is James..my son will be Kaiden James. See. LOL Good luck though!
