My mood while writing this blog: happy/hungry |
Hey ladies,it's week 37 for me and my due date is approaching .As the day gets closer the more nervous but yet anxious I get.I went to Dr. today and it was yet another fast visit which I hate, but when you been in the waiting room for such a long time you can't wait to hurry up and get out of there. I gained 1 pd so I'm 188 pds,my dad told me that I need to slow down with my eating last week lol I told him I'm trying to reach my goal at 200 pds lol j/k but it seems as though my weight gain is coming to a stopping point which is great. My little one is still a non-stop kicker and he can kick hard lol I can't wait to meet him.
My 1st day of school was not to bad,lol my teacher was like I can't deliver no babies so I hope you don't go into labor here.I'm hoping he comes around his due date, because I pretty much have everything mapped out on what I'm going to do in reguards to school .In the class of just 12 of us-since it's night school,I'm so not the only preggo person, lol which is cool, the other lady is due in March but at least I'm not alone.
My mom and dad have been telling me lately that they don't want me driving by myself because they are scared I will go into labor while driving. Are you ladies still driving and going places by yourself? Do you have a plan if you go into labor and your by yourself?
Well that's all for right now,Have a great weekend!

Friday, 28 Aug i've been driving myself too. i also have the little ones in the car. if things start to look a little tough i plan to stop and have someone meet me or drive to hosp or home depending on how close i am. if i go into labor totally by myself i plan to make a few calls and ahve someone come and get me and take me to the hosp. i hope whoever would come wouldn't be all panicky!!! i like this class already! i hope your teacher hangs in there with you and let's you miss a couple of nights. Friday, 28 Aug Well there isn't much more time for you to reach that weight goal any way! lol. I am glad that your teacher can laugh about how close you are to delivering. Maybe the teacher will be super cool about it if you miss a few nights. I have been driving my self. I have a cell phone with me all the time though. So if I started labor and felt like the pain was too bad for me to drive I would pull over and call for help. Happy growing!! Have a good weekend. godsgift09 -
Friday, 28 Aug I drive by myself on some days. Some days my husband drives me if he can wake up. It makes me a little nervous as I get further along because I work 50 minutes from home and live 40 minutes from the hospital. My supervisor did tell me this week that I can work from home 3 days out of the week (I work 6 days) so I plan to only come in on Mondays, Wednesdays (doctor appt. day), and Fridays. I often think about what will happen if I go into labor on a night my husband is at work (40 minutes away). I don't have any family any town! chrissy-511 -
Friday, 28 Aug i hope everything with school works out the way you have it planned! I still drive myself anywhere, but i don't want to go anywhere too far away in case something did happen. mommy2merae -
Thursday, 27 Aug I am also still driving myself. My husband and I carpool to work together. I drop him off at his place and continue on a few miles up the road to my place. Though we don't work very far apart I ALWAYS take him first and I'm getting worried that if I go into labor at work we'll be in trouble! I was told it's not a good idea to drive yourself if you are in labor cause you never know when a wopping contraction might hit and you could wreck! But it's very unlikely you will be somewhere where someone else can't drive you to meet hubby, or that you'll go into intense labor right away, so we should be able to get where we need to be as long as its not a couple hours away or anything :) It's almost time! Just make sure hubby and parents have a phone handy for you to reach them in case you need them! kionna1981 -
Thursday, 27 Aug Yeah I am still driving and going to places by myself but not to far from home. I stop traveling completely now. Plus my car is not in no good shape for long distance.
