Updating some past events as I noticed some other ladies had on theirs and it is nice to compare numbers, things and such...
We had our Nuchal Scan on exactly the 11 week date. Baby measured 4.3 cm and Nuchal fold was a small .8! (Most readings were .7 so I think they went with the one larger one to be sure). Baby was not moving at first but we could see the heart thumping away (the tech was nice but too quiet, I kept asking her, is that ok? Does everything else look ok? Is there a nasal bone - yes, ok, why isn't it moving at first, is that ok...). Baby kept arching neck/back and turning away from us - like "leave me alone, this is private in here!". Could see beautiful head, both arms, fingers, legs...long legs. If she is a girl then she'll make a good equestrian like her momma!
After we had the blood tests, the following week we got our results: Odds for Downs went from 1:100 to 1:730. Trisomy 18 went from 1:300 to 1:10,000!
This and a heartbeat of 161bpm at our following appt at 12 weeks and 6 days has us leaning towards passing on the triple screen. We don't want to risk a false positive and poking what appears to be our perfect little baby or poking holes in his/her "house".
Writing about the experience sure helps...in between appts it's so long and on days where symptoms are less, it makes me feel like I am a mom or mom to be. Amen. God Bless.

Congratulations and if I were you, I wouldn't poke...my numbers were around where yours are and I haven't poked.
