30-7-2009 - ready for another?

My mood while writing this blog:

Ok, so we did not find out the gender of our baby (a beautiful boy!) til we had him...but I took a girls dress and a boy's romper to the hospital so I was ready either way...I thought I'd donate the girls dress to a charity house for pregnant women with no homes...and I still will donate - something. But maybe not the dress I bought for a daughter of mine. I'm 37 and Gavin is our first, and probably, possibly our only child. I don't think I could handle 2 little ones...or could I? We have a 3 bedroom house with one room very much a needed office and work space for myself and my husband who is a designer and does quite a bit of work on the side of his regular job...would we stack 2 kids in the same room? How would we juggle finances and wouldn't a second wipe out the little free time we have left? Still I keep staring at that little dress and wonder...I can't believe I'm only 1 month into mother hood and just recovering (partially) from sleep deprivation and could seriously be considering another...never thought I'd say this...yes, I miss being pregnant! OMG! Somebody shoot me! LOL

It is nice having them so close together. My first three were all two years apart then Cheyenne came 16 years later lol. So we are done I made sure of it and had the tubal since they made me do c section lol. I don't have to worry about missing pregnancy tho as my daughter is now 5 months along so I get to relive it all through her now. Much better that way for me : ) But there is nothing wrong with putting two kids in the same room even if it is a boy and girl it would work for a few years at least. Until they youngest is about 5 or so. We did it. Now we lost our office but she is well worth it! Good luck in whatever you decide.

Im a single mom and want to be prego again...(just because I miss being pregnant!) But i know if I got prego again (which i wont for a long time) things will NOT be like they were since I have a baby now! I loved sleeping. eating whatever, getting attention in the stores for my belly and not caring what I looked like because all prego ladies are cute no matter what! :)

Hahahaha I have been trying to convince dh that I want another within 2yrs we would have to move but hey its what I want!! He is still traumatized by mr being on bedrest then Cheyennes delivery then the fact that she was early and the nicu and now the post partum moodiness lmao! He's not sure he ever wants another LMAO

I know how you feel. We are pretty sure we want another (if God willing). At first we were going to wait a while, but I'm 37 now & figure "Wait for what?" So if it happens it will be God's will... I'm not using birth control.
