Write a new blog

My mood while writing this blog: Enamored |
I just can't sing the praises of our Mellow Man enough (kind of like the operatic smiley... strangest smiley EVER!).
For those fans of the British The Office:
Gareth: Auggie Auggie Auggie... Oy Oy OY!
Tim: Do you still keep in touch with Auggie?
Gareth: Nope. That was Auggie just then.
Tim: Was it?...
(watch it here:

Augustin and I both have horrible colds. He sounds like a dingo when he's
nursing, poor guy! Still plenty of smiles to go around, but he's pretty clingy
(no problem here!) and really wants to be rocked to sleep and held through the
night (ah, again, no problem here!). His latest thing when you make him smile
is "it's TOO much!" He smiles at you then has to turn away and bury his face in
the chest of whomever is holding him like, "Oh my GOSH, that's too funny! I
can't even TAKE it!" He's cooing a lot and screeching for fun (he squints his
eyes and lifts his eyebrows, kind of like he has a question he doesn't quite
want to ask) and makes A supersonic screech, which eventually comes down to
human hearing levels. Pretty funny. He's also "whisper" cooing now, which you
can barely hear and sounds like aaaah-ooooooo. It's pretty funny and I always
tease him w/ that line from Austin Powers "I can't control THE VOLUME OF MY
VOICE!"

Tuesday, 25 Nov LOL Awwwwwwwwwwww! He sounds so precious! I'm glad your so happy! I couldn't be happier here as well! The smiles are priceless and the eyebrows, AW! Annabella loves to be on me alot and we love to fall asleep together.. and I'm glad I read your post today because dangit! My sister bottlefed and bassinette'd her baby so when I talk to her about my little monkey I can tell she's thinking and has said before about "she should be going down at a certain time..." But we fall asleep together usually, and she;s not on a schedule yet at ONLY 2 months, and I don't really feel like she should have to be because what we're doing works for us! She also feels it's okay to let them cry.. which from what I've read, AND my own instincts.. I like to help her when she's letting me know she needs something, I am a huge believer in not neglecting them at a young age when they;re upset,,.. LOL, I PRAY nothing happens to me before she's old enough to take care of herself at least! Cheers! Btw.. Sorry to hear about your colds and p.s. our birth ended up going far different than we planned! =( (We had talked about natural birth a couple months back!)
