05-8-2009 - WEIGHT... ........My mood while writing this blog:

so i had a doctor apt today to get my repeat pap. i will write another blog when i get the results. but this one is about my weight. they weighed me and i am 120, which is PERFECT for me, but i am so afraid i will keep loosing. i was 110 pre-preg, too skinny for my height of 5'5 IMO, i could never gain any more weight, and i was really self conscoius about it. people would talk behind my back saying i had an eating disorder or was on drugs, but really thats just my build, and i didnt look SICKLY THIN or anything like that. so when i got preg and gained 40 lbs i was 150 when i delivered. by 6 weeks pp i was 126, i hadnt exercised or dieted at all. my goal was to keep 10 lbs of the preg weight. well 2 months ago i was down to 123, and today i am at 120. i keep loosing :( i do NOT exercise, i am a SAHM, so i dont really do anything. i dont know what to do . i am afraid i will keep loosing and be right back to where i was, and then not be able to gain. i am happier with my body now at 8 months pp then ever before. i want to look womanly, i want to have a shape and not be a stick, like a little girl.....i dont wanna hear any comments sayin how lucky i am or to stop complaining. i hate how people only think bad things if they are too 'fat', they dont think about the opposite side of the story. too skinny AND too fat is not a good thing. i feel like i look HEALTHY now, and i really wanna stay that way...

I KNOW EXACTLY HOW YOU FEEL. BEFORE I GOT PREGGO WITH MY 1ST I WEIGHED 93LBS! AFTER MY 1ST WAS BORN I DROPPED BACK DOWN TO 103LBS. 4 MONTHS LATER I WAS PREGGO WITH MY 2ND. AFTER THAT PREGNANCY I WEIGHED 114 LBS. THEN LIKE 5 MONTHS AGO I STARTED GETTING SICK. THEY SAY I HAVE GERD BUT I THINK ITS SOMETHING ELSE. ANYWAYS, I AM NOW 95 LBS AND I REALLY DO HATE HOW I LOOK SOMETIMES. MY CLOTHES DON'T FIT RIGHT AND I'M SO SELF CONCIOUS. BY THE WAY I'M 5'3.

workin out to gain muscles can also help gain weight... you can start lifting weights whenever your lil one is takin a nap. im the same way i was WAYY too skinny. i was 90lbs and 5ft before i had Mikayla. now i'm 115 and LOVE IT! i still got some tummy work to do but i like lookin like a woman too. i hate lookin like a flat little girl LOL. but good luck girl. and keep us updated on your results.

sorry to hear you are concerned about your weight. I think 120 is a great weight for you, but if you lose more weight while eating healthy then I don't think there is much you can do. Have you tried eating more nuts or peanut butter? they are fatty, but good for you at the same time.

Hun you are not giving your self enough credit. A SAHM that doesn't do much...lol not likely. You are probably always running around behind your lil guy and cleaning and doing so much! You are probably burning a insane amount of calories just doing that every day.

please! do me a favor and look up "hyperthryoid" i got a hyPO thyroid after pregnancy, its opp where i gain weight. Look it up on the net and its a simple blood test to find out.

one thing that really worked for me were insure drinks they are protein shakes i was taking while working out they made me gain some weight so i stopped taking them oh and you can try carnations breakfast shakes they do make you full quickly when i first got pregnant i was working so i would drink one in the morning theneat breakfast around ten idk just some suggestion, my husband loves me prego so babies are never a bad option :) good luck with your second
