My mood while writing this blog: Ok |
As you all can see - I am sooo blue right now! Kamryn had her 2 month appointment today and as you all probably know, she got her immunization shots. ****I'm just gonna say it was not a pretty sight*** All I can do right now is shake my head. Its sad because she has to have them, and I just felt so helpless because I couldn't do anything to take away the pain. I just held her while she was getting the shots to give her some love throughout the pain but I was not ready yall. It just broke my heart to see her cry like that. Another thing that really gets me is the nurses are sooo used to handling babies all day long that they forget to be gentle when giving the shots. Guess on the other hand, its good that she did them quick and got it overwith, but I was still like, "wait a minute- dang"! Ok, let me change the subject before I get upset again....
On another note, my baby weighed in @ 10 lbs 12oz (more than 4 1/2 pounds since birth) and she's 22" long. She's upgraded from the 25th percentile in weight to the 50th. YYAAAYYYY!!!!! Overall, she's a happy, healthy baby that has accomplished and exceeded all of the 2 month milestones and already dipping into month three. I am soooo proud of her - Go Kam!

Wednesday, 2 Jul awwww....my kamryn was suppose to have her 2 month check up on friday, but when her father took her..they gave him a song and dance about her insurance. he had just added her on and united healthcare had no i.d # or anything for her and on top of that the stupid dr office gave us a hard time with giving her the shots and back billing the insurance co....so now her i.d cards finally came in and she will be going next week...yikes!!! mamabear -
